Who is the Product for? 

This programme is designed to meet the initial training and knowledge assessment requirements for personnel preparing to work as Authorised Gas Testers*. 

*Note: In the workplace, persons undertaking Standby/Safety Watch duties at the entrance to a confined space shall be an Authorised Gas Tester or an Authorised Gas Monitor. 

What does this Product cover? 

This Product is to ensure that personnel preparing for a gas tester role are equipped with the knowledge to conduct gas tests for oxygen levels, flammable and toxic gases safely. This Product also equips the learner with knowledge to conduct gas testing within confined spaces and awareness of associated confined space hazards. Learners will also learn about relevant legislative requirements, gas measuring and monitoring equipment and documenting gas test results.

To achieve the Authorised Gas Tester Training Digital Delivery the learner will need to complete the 4 mandatory units.

Who is the training for? 

This training is for learners who are completing the knowledge outcomes of 9014 Basic H2S Training only.

This training is for personnel that are or could be, working in an environment that could become contaminated by H2S gas.

What does this training cover? 

This Product aims to ensure that the learner gains the required basic knowledge and understanding of the hazards and properties of H2S.

How can you successfully achieve this Product? 

To achieve the Basic H2S Training the learner will need to complete the 1 mandatory unit.

What could this Product lead to? 

Learners have 3 months in order to complete the practical outcomes of Basic H2S 9014b at the same training Centre.

What is the validity of this Product?
